Fees & Management

Understanding Fees

EMPX uses a transparent fee structure to maintain the platform and incentivize order execution.

Fee Types

Fee TypePaid ToPurpose
Protocol FeeEMPX ProtocolSustains platform development and maintenance.
Bot FeeExecutor BotsIncentivizes bots to execute your order immediately when price targets are met.
Router FeeLiquidity ProvidersStandard swap fees paid to DEXs (Uniswap, etc.) for using their pools.

Dynamic Router Fees

Router fees adjust based on the risk level of your trading pair:

  • Volatile-Volatile Pairs: Higher fee (e.g., WETH/WBTC) because price volatility creates more execution risk.
  • Stable Pairs: Lower fee (e.g., WETH/USDC) because stablecoin pairs have less price risk.

Total Cost Example

Example: Selling 1 WETH for USDC

  • Amount In: 1 WETH
  • Target: $3,000
  • Fees: ~0.3% total (deducted from output)
  • You Receive: ~$2,991 USDC

(Plus gas fees depending on network congestion, paid separately during order creation)

Managing Your Orders

Order Status

Your orders can have five different statuses:

  1. Open: Active and waiting for price target.
  2. Partially Filled: Some tokens executed, remaining amount still active.
  3. Filled: 100% executed. Tokens sent to your wallet.
  4. Cancelled: You stopped the order. Unfilled tokens returned.
  5. Expired: Deadline passed. Order stopped. Tokens returned.

Cancelling Orders

You can cancel any active or partially filled order at any time:

  1. Navigate to your orders list.
  2. Find the order you want to cancel.
  3. Click “Cancel Order”.
  4. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
  5. Your unfilled tokens will be returned to your wallet.

Note: For partially filled orders, you only get back the unfilled portion. The filled portion has already been converted to your output token and sent to your wallet.

Viewing Order History

Track all your orders in one place:

  • Active Orders: See all orders currently waiting to execute.
  • Order Details: View fill progress, prices, amounts, and timestamps.
  • Past Orders: Review completed, cancelled, and expired orders.
  • Transaction Links: Access blockchain explorer links for each order transaction.
