Getting Started

To use the Empx X Via Bridge, you must have a Web3 wallet (like MetaMask or Rabby) configured for PulseChain.

PulseChain RPC Settings

If you haven't added PulseChain to your wallet yet:

  • Network Name: PulseChain
  • New RPC URL: https://rpc.pulsechain.com
  • Chain ID: 369
  • Currency Symbol: PLS
  • Block Explorer: https://scan.pulsechain.com

(Note: Destination chains like Arbitrum or Base are usually added automatically by your wallet, but ensure you have gas tokens for them as well.)

How to Bridge

Scenario A: Leaving PulseChain (Outbound)

Goal: Send PLSX from PulseChain to Arbitrum.

  1. Connect Wallet: Ensure you are on the PulseChain network.
  2. Select Asset: Choose PLSX from the dropdown.
  3. Select Destination: Choose Arbitrum.
  4. Enter Amount: Input the amount of PLSX to bridge.
  5. Approve: Click "Approve" to allow the bridge contract to access your PLSX (First time only).
  6. Bridge: Click "Send." Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
  • Result: Your PLSX is locked on PulseChain, and Synthetic PLSX is minted on Arbitrum.

Scenario B: Returning to PulseChain (Inbound)

Goal: Send Synthetic PLSX from Arbitrum back to PulseChain.

  1. Connect Wallet: Switch your wallet network to Arbitrum.
  2. Select Asset: Choose PLSX.
  3. Select Destination: Choose PulseChain.
  4. Bridge: Click "Send" and confirm.
  • Result: Your Synthetic PLSX is burned on Arbitrum, and original PLSX is released to you on PulseChain.

Fees & Gas

1. Gas Fees (Native Token)

You always pay gas in the native token of the chain you are starting from.

  • Sending from PulseChain: You need PLS.
  • Sending from BNB Chain: You need BNB.
  • Sending from Polygon: You need MATIC.

2. Bridge Fee

A small fee may be deducted from the token amount being transferred to cover the cost of the Relayer (the service that delivers your tokens to the destination chain). This ensures you don't need to manually claim tokens on the other side—they appear automatically.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Q: Is the Synthetic WPLS on Arbitrum the same as real WPLS? A: No, it is a "pegged" representation. It holds the same value because it can always be redeemed 1:1 for the real asset on PulseChain via this bridge.

Q: I can't see my tokens on the destination chain. A: You may need to import the token address manually into your wallet. Please check the "Developer Resources" section for the correct contract addresses for each chain.

Q: How long does bridging take? A:

  • From PulseChain: Typically 2–5 minutes.
  • To PulseChain: Typically 2–5 minutes.
  • Note: Speed depends on the finality time of the chains involved.
